JIUHC 0251XPMW

It was reported here (http://www.price.ro/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=58557#post58557) by the sorren guy ... Also this (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/story.html?id=1039451080) made it more belivable . In fact i don't know what to think , if there really is a "C" stepping out or it's just a 'leaked' CPU .... maybe wrong printed ?

Stalka

id guess that it was a wrong print on the chip/label

did I get scammed?

PCGenious
03-08-2003, 11:59 PM
umm...is the fsb set to 166? I think 2800+ are supposed to be like 2.2ghz and the 2600+'s are 2.08

Micutzu
03-09-2003, 05:01 PM
If it's a Barton it's ok , they run at 2087 mhz .

Drozdov
03-09-2003, 05:02 PM
yeah im sure he has a barton

can you post a WCPUID pic?

Lord Nemesis

I think it's a Barton....no clue what a WCPUID is, hey micutzu, u look EXACTLY like my best friend (Romanian too), I swear, I gotta show him ur pic man...its uncanny..

Micutzu
03-10-2003, 02:02 AM
Maybe i have a twin brother i don't know about :D ...

WCPUID is a program that shows the clock and other important data from the CPU . You can get it here (http://www.h-oda.com/) .

Hmm, cool. If I ever get SoftCPU to work maybe I can do it with a little more confidence now.

AIUCB is my stepping and apparently that's not bad according to your little "Stepping < Stepping < etc" thing.

Nice thread.

Me I have had a 1700+ Tbred B (JIUCB) and I was only able to get It up to 2.0Ghz, But then I had a Thermaltake 80mm Smart Fan 2 (set at max rpm) on My SLK-900-U heatsink and the vcore was nearly maxed out at 1.93vdc. It reached a temp. of 102F I might add.

My current CPU is an 1800+ Tbred A (AIUGA) and It's running at 1.83Ghz with a 1.65vdc vcore and It has a Faster fan on It too, It's a Vantec 92mm Tornado and My cpu temp is 86F currently. And yeah It's still locked, Only the KT400 and Nforce2 chipsets will allow this cpu to be unlocked by default. I would go with the SLK-800 If Your motherboard isn't listed by Thermalright as being compatible with the SLK-900-U, that and It uses the 4 holes that AMD had as part of It cpu socket spec.

drunksquirrels it isn't a t-bred A as it has the black sticker on the side of it..... i thought that meant it was a t-bred b???

my 1600+ got 1.85 using soltek SL75DRV4 using default core voltage, ran burn in test for a few days solid. and was fine, any more than that and the RAM is purly the limiting factor, Idle temp = 39C Full Load ranges from 44-46 depending on ambient temps..

gameve.com has the 0315 aqxda's now, not the aqxca's. Its weird how they changed from c to d in like 7 weeks. Anyone know how these perform.

Just got a:

AXDA2500DKV4D
Y829165260278
AQXDA0314MPMW

Retail Box. I don't think this stepping is listed on the first page.
Has anybody else got on of these?

shroomer
05-30-2003, 07:10 PM
if that is from Newegg I think that is the same as linx and twiggys

MarMacMan
05-30-2003, 08:42 PM
Got it from a local retailer. Man do I hate the stock HSF from AMD.
The heatsink feels like it was sanded with 10 grit paper and is kinda hot while running. Gonna have to slap my Volcano9 on top as a stopgap measure.

whats the difference between the JIUHB and the JILHB. I read the Whole thread and I couldn't find it.

Micutzu
06-16-2003, 04:05 AM
Where have you seen the JILHB ? Nobody reported it until now .

LkyOldSun
06-16-2003, 05:11 AM
oops...
BAD newbee
I guess I meant DUT3C and DLT3C, but then I haven't scowered the thread for those, and am very tired, I guess this is my cue to go to bed!

Micutzu
06-16-2003, 05:24 AM
DUT3C and DLT3C are not steppings , are some codes that represent CPU characteristics . DLT3C means :

D - organic CPU support - OPGA (A is for ceramic CPU support , CPGA)
L - 1.5V core voltage (U is 1.6V)
T - 90C maximum core temp (V - 85C)
3 - 256KB L2 cache (1 - 64KB , 4 - 512KB)
C - 266Mhz default FSB (B - 200Mhz , D - 333Mhz , E - 400Mhz) .

i got xp 2500+ stepping AQXCA, where does it stand?

LkyOldSun
06-20-2003, 04:47 AM
Welcome, Claw13Angel, The AQXCA is inferior to the AQXDA for overclocking purposes (as listed on first page of this thread) I just ordered my Newegg Barton 2500+ retail, and hopeing for the best.

JaNoZ
06-20-2003, 08:52 AM
what speeds can you get with AQXDA then at stock 1.65v

i run 2.5 stock on air or 2.666 on stock with prommie! with an AQXCA
not thouroughly tested but, boots from fdd atm

it is printed only at the cpu itself, not on the soft info
so you will have to take a look at that, physically

but it is not needed to o'c, if you hit a wall, then you have.....

****it,

Garbash
"NB G30084.1 0247A2 S
SB MCP-T FB0766.1 0247A3 C
and my GF4 is Q22986.1 0249A1 "

-> no info on Northbridge/southbridge whatsoever on manufacturing releases...
as for the GF4, i dunno either only that there are cores like A1/A2/A3 (found in display properties)
A3' are in the cheap 4200's dunno if they are any good in oc!?,
Most A2 cores do great, and A1 of course the first samples being sold like ASUS had their running at 330 std i guess???

As for my prommie, my god it is getting irritating, and on my nerves, why do i have the best piece of crap, out of the whole bunch??? it keep blowing fuses occasionally, it drives me insane....
dismounting over and over is insanity... i guess it will start working when i killed my mobo eventually with dismounting failure :( grrrrrr...

LkyOldSun
06-24-2003, 04:33 PM
My newbee observances: at least with abit and FIC, a NB that says A1 ON it and has no silver circle is the newest one that supports 400 Mhz, but it will show A3 in software?

Drozdov
06-24-2003, 04:34 PM
well software isn't reliable, if you see the chipset being A1 and its black, then its the new ultra400 chipset that officially supports 200fsb processors.

My 2100+ tbred b's stepping code is JIUHB, shouldnt that code only be for 1700+ and 1800+'s? I know I didn't read it wrong.......

Gorbash123
06-26-2003, 02:08 PM
ummm ok well i can't find the bit that says the gf4's stepping at all
