So I've been thinking of replacing my heatsink on my chipset for my GA-MA770T-UD3P. I've done some searching and couldn't really find something of quality non-water cooled. Finally stumbled upon Enzotech CNB-SI Forged copper 1100 Heatsink the item itself looks really good compared to what I was finding on newegg and tigerdirect.

Found the item after I was searching for mosfet heatsink for my motherboard.

Any thoughts on the replacement chipset heatsink? I'll most likely be using some extra TX-2 thermal paste from the Sunbeam CCTF I'll be picking up as well.

around 3.0 it stay around 90.
SO, I guess a need a better cooler. I don't need top performance, but I would like something quiet (120mm fan?). I would also prefer to avoid thoses big heavy tower type cooler, but if they are really the best overrall then its ok)

One store close to here have the:

Noctua NH-U12P SE2 eatpipe Cooler W/ 2XNH-P12 120MM in stock for 60$.

They are some thermalright but they are pretty expensive and dont seem to fit socket 1156.

Thanks!

Hello, everyone!
I'm interested in switching all of my case fans (I'm using the NOX fans that came with my case). I want something that's quiet. Very quiet, as my PC is in my bedroom.

I have a AMD X2 5000+ BE @3.0Ghz with an Arctic Cooling Freezer on it so that isn't my concern.
I do have, however, my Gygabyte's HD3200 IGP overclocked (and that doesn't have a fan, so...). There will be a fan blowing air right at it from the side, so no problems there, as long as the fans do what they're supposed to do.

Already know the noyseblocker is very quiet. But it costs €18+ around here.

Are these an option?
http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalo...=252&page=spec
http://www.nox-xtreme.com/products_u...3&type=0&id=37

I would like to get one 120 mm (blowing air from the front over my HDDs) and one 80 mm (blowing air in from the side). My Arctic Freezer 7 does the work on blowing everything through the pierced back of the case.

I've got to say I'm leaning towards the Arctic Cooling fans, simply because of the PWN feature. I would like to know if they're really silent, though, before I buy.

Thanks for all your help in advance.

Cheers,
nwbdan :)
