Well with the new promotion came the ability to stop buying the middle of the road components and pick up a couple higher end that will last me longer.

First and foremost I have been looking for a case, I stumbled on this one from Corsair, its the Obsidian series. I do not intend on a Water Cool system for this, I travel a lot and do not want to deal with it when I am home from these trips. Whats the opinion of this overall? Are the Hot Swap bays well made? I work in telecom and sometimes I am shocked at how crappy a 30,000 dollar rig can be. My main concern here is avoiding breakage or failure.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-001-_-Product

Next I have been looking into some fan speed controls and temp gauges for me occasional overclocking adventures. Have any of you put any time into a Sythe Fan controller like this one.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811998055

and the fans for it...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-054-_-Product

I will be running 4x640gb HDDs and 2 1.5TB HDDs in this unit, so 6 3.5s would obviously be ideal, however I can go down to 4 HDDS and just purchase a NAS device for the remainder. (I have a lot of media I backup to my PC to watch/listen on the road.) It will also act as a Media server for the TV i just bought...

Or would you guys point me towards another? If so Hot Swap bays is a preffered option, Cooling must be great and easy to achieve silence there in, As well as cable management. Seperate compartments is great with how frequently I get into my rigs. I am always adding upgrading and swapping parts out.

Edit: After reviewing a few more cases I have also found this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163073 No hot swap, but just about everything else. I never really knew there was this much selection in the full tower units, this will be my first ever full. Also I would like to limit under 300 for case haha, Some of these are pretty pricey.

While on this topic, for cases that have the PSU mounted on top, would you consider it an advantage to install the PSU upside down. This way the fan is pointing up, you would need to cut a hole in the case in that location, but then you have the PSU in it's own little section of the case. It would add very little heat to the rest of the case. Are these assumptions correct?

I'm getting a monster case with like 8 or 10 (can't remember which lol; though I may not use all of them) fans and figure now would be a really good time to get one. Also, are there any controllers that include like a small 2port USB hub too? I don't really care if it's a knob style or lcd panel style... the big thing for me is just that supports a lot of fans. TBH I may not even use the speed control features as my fans already include a little switch for that on the fan. However with so many fans I figure the power/cable management would be easier with one like that.

I know it fits with 3 fans, just a push or just a pull, but I was wondering if I could get the dimensions to figure out if I could do a push pull setup.

Also I'm interested to know if 120mm fans on the top of the case would hit the motherboard. And by that I mean like if the fan were dropped down in to the case, like it will be on the radiator, will it hit motherboard? I know the Haf 932 is a bit wider than most cases so I figured maybe it was wide enough to allow 120mm fans right next to the motherboard up top.

Let me know if I need to clarify what I'm asking.

I am going to take apart my HAF 932 case when it arrives to paint the interior black.

What size drill bit do I need to remove the old rivets and what size rivets will I need to reassemble it?

Reason I am asking now is to get everything ready for when it turns up.

Thanks
