DFI X48-T2RSB+ Is my board knackered???

Hi, hope someone can point me in the right direction. I am a total noob with hardware and all this over clocking but thought I would purchase a new mobo and have a go at installing it.

I got a DFI X48-T2RSB+ having heard plenty of good things about it and Ive just finished installing it. Ive noticed having just installed Vista 64 the the LED is showing as FF. I have cleared the CMOS using the jumper on the back of the board and also removed the battery for over 5 minutes but the LED is still showing FF The computer appears to be running fine other than the floppy drive light is permanently on.

I have not really set anything in the BIOS yet, slowly working my way through it as its all a little overwhelming for me so its all pretty much the default settings. My system Spec if its of any help is Q6600, DFI X48-T2RSB+, Geforce 8800 Ultra, 2x Samsung 1 TB HD, 8GB Dominator Ram.

The Ram is a bit Overkill but was offered it boxed by a friend for £40 so couldnt really refuse it

Thanks in advance

FF means everything is running fine.

Good post here about the DFI BIOS options and codes.

Don't ask why unless you want to join them.

Ah glad to hear FF is fine, thanks for the info guys. Still unable to get the floppy drive to work, cable appears to be plugged in correct but will check again when I get back from work. I did notice when in the BIOS it shows 75 on the LED. I may just take out the Floppy as its something I never use.

Cheers
