Try 1 stick of ram at a time in each slot.
Make sure the 4/8 pin power connector is plugged in , it is usually close to the Processor socket.

If just the 1 beep, did you try to plug the monitor into the MOBO native VGA port? The BIOS reset may have set the video back to the onboard.
