freeBSD - Help me please - Machine wont fold.

PROBLEM.. please help.

I'm not sure which thread this should be in, or if it deserves its own thread.
I looked and couldnt find anyone who is having my problem.

We recently rented a dedicated freeBSD server for some dedicated processing.
I decided to make use of the idle cpu cycles and so I installed folding.
I have folding running on about 5 other freeBSD machines and they fold just fine so I did not anticipate any problems with this machine.

It is a 1.8Ghz celeron.
It came with freeBSD 4.9 but I updated it to freeBSD 4.10-p2
I installed the port linux_base.
I branded the FAH502-Linux.exe file as -t Linux (i also have the same problem with the version 4 console).
When I start the folding console (-verbosity 9 -freeBSD) it looks like it starts just fine.

The unix 'top' command indicates that FAH is getting about 97% cpu.

However, once it starts, it just sits there and never advances through any frames, while continuing to chew up 95+% cpu cycles.

I have also tried the version 4 console.
I have deleted the work directory 3 times.
I have deleted the entire folding directory twice and have been assigned several different work units.

How can I find out why it isnt advancing through any frames?

Is there any way to see what it is doing?

Surely a 1.8GHZ machine can do at least 1 frame from ANY work unit within 24 hours.

Thanks.
DiverGuy.
