Windows 2000 Server question

My mom connects to a remote desktop server on a windows 2000 server computer. She is wondering if there is a way that anyone can track what folders and files she is viewing. Wether that means windows 2000 server or the remote desktop software running on it.

PS - as far as i know, the remote desktop software is called just that, remote desktop.

You can track it in 2000 as well. Bottom line, if an admin want's to find out what your mom is doing (nothing bad I hope)......they will.

When you log on to a server, the server will know when and how you're logged on, and you get a neat ID attached, and you're owned by this ID. From there, any actions can be tracked by that ID, and that's just on the Windows side of doing things. From a forensics side, it gets worse, because if you ... r "mom", let's say do something stupid on the server. They'll know exactly what but cheek "she" was scratching when "she" did something stupid. So don't.
