maybe a new firefox version would, or maybe some new forceware drivers? nah i doubt that, itll probably be a new firefox version.

but im kinda glad this happened, or else i wouldnt have reformatted, and i needed to heh.

guys--ive noticed that when there are .gif images on a page, the page gets all slow and laggy and rough...but with .jpg images, its absolutely fine. hmmmm??

You could try adblocking all .gifs - depends on the sites you visit though / how much it annoys you. I've learnt to just live with it but it's pretty annoying.

gifs don't lag mine. My gifs actually loop faster in firefox. I do get that problem on some pages.

Go to tools ---- options --- web features --- uncheck java and javascript and see what happens, close all firefox windows to and relaunch the browser.

same here, as i said, firefox worked awesomely with my 9600XT, but it's absolute sh1t with my 6800!
