Bluetooth headsets on PC's

I realize now that I should have posted this here.

I play several online games, and like to use voice chat at the same time. The problem is that the wires are inconvenient. Bluetooth looks like it would be a pretty cool, although expensive, solution. I like the idea of being able to get up and move around the house while still being able to talk/listen, especially if I am making VoIP calls from my computer. However, I haven't seen much talk about this particular application of Bluetooth. Does anyone have any thoughts/recommendations?

I use a Linksys USB Bluetooth antenna to sync my Dell Axim to my PC, as well as surf the web, IM and email from my PDA. The antenna itself only cost me around $35 from Fry's Electronics and is well worth the price seeing as I use my Axim for everything.

It'd be a relatively low cost solution for setting up a BT Voip network, so to speak, in your house if you have a BT headset. The only thing to keep in mind is that the range isn't going to be very much. I should point out that I was able to get about 75' from my PC using my PDA while maintaining a strong signal to the antenna. That was through brick walls, as the PC is in the front bedroom and I was on the back patio at the opposite end of my house.

if you look on ebay there are various devices made just for skype but they look like cheapo chinese crap. mind you i have never tried them so i wouldnt know. you can buy for around £25 ($50-$60) a bluetooth dongle that plugs into usb like a usb stick and i use it to sync up my phone with my pc, works pretty **** good but i havnt tried using headphones with it yet. would be a good idea as i am a skype user myself and sometimes game a lot with teamspeak and things.

The results are in.
This is a great solution I am very pleased with the performance. If you are a serious multiplayer gamer that uses any kind of voice communication with your teamates, this combo is excellent. The downside is that the audio quality is not as good as a good pair of headphones/speakers.
