if ur not planning on doing any OCing that stick to the stock cooler as it is quite good...
the Zalman website states that it is compatible with the X1800XT so i would see y new ram sinks would be needed unless u want bigger ones  I myself am looking into getting one of these... |

tried the Zalman on my X1800XT. Back to the stock cooler -it gave me higher overclocks.
