Check the temperatures of your components first to check for overheating. An Antec TP 650w should work fine with a single 8800 but it does sound like its having a problem. I've heard of the 5v lines going bad.

These kind of problems can be tricky to track down. Although it is possible for a weak PSU to cause a problem such as the one you are having, it is not very likely under these circumstances (Unless you system has a massive quanity of additional hardware that you did not mention).
Your PSU is capable of supporting twice as many components as you currently have installed in your full system. With 52A@+12v it is not starved for power and can easily feed your 8800GTX. Test it for yourself: Disconnect every unneccessary hardware component, verify that the remaining components are spread out across several of the power cables coming out of the PSU, and then game for several days. If the crashing occurs it is not the PSU. The most likely suspects are either a bios setting, the memory, or the Nvidia Vista drivers. It may take some time to figure this out so be very methodical. |
