ok, it has a 20a 12v rail and it has one 20-pin ATX Power Supply Connector and one 4-pin ATX 12V connector and a AUX connector, isn't my new mobo, a evga 680i going to need a 24pin and 8 pin connector?

Yeah, I would say you should upgrade your PSU. You're going to want an ATX2.0+ powersupply for an ATX2.0+ motherboard.
I had an Enermax NoiseTaker 425W PSU (ATX1.3) and when I got my SLI board, I bought an ATX2.0 PSU as soon as I could. It's not a good idea to run newer tech hardware on older PSUs. Those components are designed to the ATX2.0 specifications for a reason. |

it will run fine, your going to have to buy a 4pin to 8pin adaptor most likely though

But yes that power supply has a high quality 12 volt rail and should be great for you. |

Download the motherboard manual or contact EVGA for specific information about the backwards compatibility of power supply connectors for that particular motherboard. Whether or not a ATX v2.0 motherboard is compatible with a ATX v1.3 power supply depends on the specific motherboard design.
