Help overclocking GA-P35-DS3R with E6850

Extreme noob here. I built this rig over a month ago, but today was my day off so I gave over clocking a try. I can't seem get the FSB to go beyond 350 with a 9x multiplier without the motherboard resetting back to default. I even played with a 8x multiplier and FSB at 475, but the bios will reset to default. I did not play with the CPU voltage or the memory timing yet. Did I forget to set something else??

The best I got is 3150mhz (9x350) I know it's just my inexperience and not the hardware's fault. I've read nearly every "How-To" guide already, but after 3 hours I still can't get the freaking thing to overclock, this overclocking thing is hard!

Rig spec:
P35-DS3R
E6850
Zalman 9500
Corsair CM2X 8500C5 4gb
EVGA 8800GTX

This is what the stock setting looks like on my rig.

Here is my first try. No good...the Bios will just reset back to default 9X 333fsb.

After a few reboot, I tried these settings and played with the Memory Frequency. No good...I just get a BSOD

Dont touch any of the NB voltages, etc , and try to keep a low mem frequency for now. I used to have this board so I know what it likes and doesnt like Also dont ever use gigabyte's beta bios'

Thanks for your inputs! There are so many great articles on how to overclock, but many of them are either using a different motherboard/CPU combo or older components so it's kinda hard for a noob like me to follow along.

I'm going to try it tonight and will fill you guys in with the result.

Hit Ctrl+F1 at the bios main menu to open up more overclocking options like full RAM timings.
