This case is for serious water cooling.

meh, its nicer then the antec 1200 in some ways, but not in others... and its over $100 more then the Antec 1200. If I had the money to get it... and fill it with enough WC gear so it doesnt look like an school bus with only one student, then I might be tempted.

I am not a fan of mounting a radiator blowing into the case, as the front 3 fans seem to suggest on this case. HDD's and clear air channels are for the front IMHO and radiators should blow OUT of the case low near the bottom or have their own air channel.
Never did like the radiator on the top design, hottest air in my room is right there at the top of my case WTH would I want to cool my CPU with it?!?! |

wonder how hot he keeps the room also? since height of where he mounted it and the room temp tend to affect the temps

For the water cooling aspect, yes it would dominate the Antec 1200. Looks, the Antec 1200 works better.

To be honest my water cooled rig has its hot spot right behind the radiator for the GPU loop. But my linux rig is more of a normal situation and for sure the hot spot is the area around the RAM and voltage regs, its water cooled as well so the CPU heat is exiting through the radiator mounted on top and from testing its the worst for cooling but most cool looking and conveniant to mount spot. It is not all that hot up at the ceiling in my room I checked (and found another reason to love my IR thermometer). |

The top of the box does not make a huge difference, its minor the heat that preloads from the NB/SB and RAM if they are running stock. Its when you start OCing the crap out of your DDR2 and have two glowing 45c sticks dumping heat at the top of your case, right next to the overvolted memory controller in the northbridge, then you start to see it if the rad is sucking the air from those components. of course the solution is to water cool those parts as well... getting around to that but it might be after I get an x58 mobo. I don't want to buy a new set of chipset blocks in 5 months...
