Oh, you mean you read the newegg "user reviews", the ones posted by the 14yr old pester-posters!

Seriously you have invested a lot of time & money in making a great rig. Your choice on the GPU is open to question, but why would you rely on a Rosewill to power your new investment?

This is a Terrible Shame!
Dave

point taken i did just go with user reviews on new egg lol but i am discovering now that should have gone a differant route no harm price was cheap so ill put this psu in another system and get a diff psu for my rig

that GB aluminum radiator cannot be mixed with the copper waterblock you have. corrosion will be hitting that system hard. and that pump/res combo is not the best, so keep an eye on it.

other than that great build, looks very clean.
i checked out my original gigabyte 3d 2 specs the supplied waterblock in that system is also copper. so what you are saying is gigabyte messed up by supplying an aluminum rad with a copper waterblock in the kit?

yes i am, i had the same kit when i first got into pc's. im not being rude to you but that kit is for people that dont know any better. i didnt know any better at the time, it just looked cool so i ordered it. spend the extra 30-50 bucks and either pick up this or this. you will ruin that nice $70 CPU block by running that aluminum rad. you can keep the res/pump combo. its not the best by far. but it will do till youre ready to upgrade. which is soon i hope.

Then a Corsair HX620 (modular) or a Corsair TX650 (same, but not modular) will be more than enough & provide overhead for OC'ing, transient response & cool/quiet cooling.

The PC P&C 610W or 750W would be fine also & about the same price, under $100.

If $10 to $30 is a major problem you can "get by" with the Corsair HX520 for $77@Provantage.

You have speedstep enabled, when the CPU is at idle it is slowing down to save power turn it off and it'll always be at the overclocked speed. Where are your temps and voltages right now? Is HT enabled?

good info few points i was not aware well here is whats going on i was not goign to water cool yet but gigabyte is so stupid my initial 3d 2 from one of my odler rigs, the board inside the pump/resorvoir messed up 2 times and since i am under warranty and they do not have parts to RMA this they sent me new units the pumps are still good so now i called them up i said wtf is going on same prob they sent me a whole new system complete kit so since the gigabyte system is socket 775 i bought i bought the appoggee waterblock and adapter plate. now the tubing and rad and all i had brand new in the gigabyte kit so why waste. the reason i was interested in the rad is its small and thick i want to keep it inside the tower. i am looking into the swiftec one just wanna make sure the dimensions can fit into my tower, on my previous rig iwas messing around i used a car oil engine cooler from perma-cool as my rad worked really nice and to mess around even more i had dipped it in a ice cooler i got my temps down to 8 deg celcius which was a fun experimant. i def plan on upgrading my lower end parts like the rad and psu .. would you know if the dimensions are about the same between the gigabyte rad and the swiftec one?

the dimensions are close to the same. only thing that is different is the nozzles come straight out of the bottom on the GB. on the swiftech they come out of the side/bottom. you could make it work very easily.
