Question Could This Damage My Video Card?

I just want to know this... I have a GeForce 3 and I want to know if you set it to very low settings 50 mhz core 100 mhz memory or 400 mhz core 900 mhz memory would damage it?

Nah I don't think so, not unless you vmod it or something. It will hardlock on you if you set it to 400/900 though. Why would you even want to do this (set it to 400/900 and/or 50/110)?

I just want to know. If I did set it to an extremely low setting would it damage my card? And by VMOD what do you mean? I could accually reach that?

Why would you want to set it to a low setting anyway. That would be just plain stupid to do.

Being an ******* gets you nowhere, that's the first rule.

Anyway, it could damage your card if your card doesn't crash immediately after you set those high settings. The low settings will just be real slow, that's all I can think of.

Vmodding your video card involves some soldering and forces the voltage on the video card to be higher than normal. Allows the card to run at higher speeds but also makes it run hotter.
