Yep, I use it on Vista x64. Works like a charm. I love the program; it's saved from a very serious registry infection a time or two (ones that no other program could fix, even). In my opinion, it's the best tool for curing registry infections/viruses.

Windows Defender is okay, but lacks live protection. I use it from time to time.

Windows Firewall doesn't necessarily do much.

UAC is a joke, and an annoying one, too. 'Nough said.

lemme see i'll get back

Additional Comment:

Cheers, just making the switch to Vista Ultimate 64 now so this has saved me a few quid :-) Running Win7 64 on a dual boot and it's looking really good! Much quicker than I expected.

The OP said he didn't want to post where he got this info from but did not cover his tracks very well.

All this information sourced from another site, for respect reasons I will not mention it here as it will look like advertising but if you wish to find out more information about x64 bit software or if you have any questions then just reply to the topic.
Like I said though it is good info.

Comodo's a great firewall until it ****s a brick on your cpu, which it does from time to time. Couple days ago comodo was using 100% of my cpu for the first 5-10 minutes of uptime. Restart doesn't make it go away, reinstall does. It's a well known problem too-not so much to the extreme that I experienced it, but comodo has been known to unnecessarily suck up substantial amounts of cpu time.

Past that annoying little tweak I've used comodo for months and have thoroughly enjoyed it. but the day pc tools makes their firewall 64 bit...

AVG works great for me on vista 64. best free av out there, maybe if you want, you can try the windows version of ClamAV, its open source so its free too. lots of servers use it in linux i know, but i have no idea how ClamWIN works.

jesusisback is referring to a firewall, you're referring to an anti virus..... or do you mean the avg suite plus firewall? not sure if I remember correctly but I think the avg firewall isn't that good if I'm not mistaken.
