Where did the PC P&C PSU's go?

I was looking on newegg for pc p&c psu's and there are only like 4 left and of those they are either low or high wattage. Anyone know what the deal is?

Which answer would you like, we have several?

PC P&C "should" be introducing at least the first of 2-new lines of PSU's next week, if all goes well.

Yeah, I was figuring they were trying to run out of their current stock to post up a fresh new line of PSUs.

Just because they were bought out by OCZ, does not mean that they are going away. From what I hear they still are a fully functional child "manufacturer" of PSUs and they still are putting out the quality units that they always have in the past.

I have a PC P&C Silencer 510 in my backup rig right now in fact. Same great build quality as the Corsair in my main rig.

Actually, OCZ has owned PCP&C for over 2 and a half years now. If they were going to drop the brand they would have long ago. But then it also would have been the same as shooting themselves in the foot...wouldn't have killed em but it sure would hurt like hell.

PC P&C doesn't build PSU's, they have them custom built to their specs,
although PC P&C has been know to do in-house mods on occasion.

Agreed, that's why I put the "manufacturer" in quotes.

But yes, most big vendors contract their builds out to the major manufacturers and have PSUs designed to their specs as David said.

Seasonic is one of the few PSU manufacturers out there that also market their own products. Many of Corsairs' and PC P&C's units are sourced from Seasonic if I recall correctly.

Your memory is good & Seasonic also custom builds the PC P&C Silencers, to PC P&C's specs.

Enermax, Seasonic & Zippy are the 3 Premium Brands that actually build their own PSU's.
