I had been wondering about this Intel i5/i7 rated Memory... this is exactly the advertising crap I have come to expect from Intel and one of the primary reasons I will not buy Intel, I have considered switching to Intel's overpriced hardware but things like this firmly keep me AMD.

Why can't they just say "Intel/AMD compatible but optermised for Intel i5/i7" to save confusion!

I dont think we can do anything about the propa ganda that companys will churn out to get you to buy there stuff.
Personally memory and motherboards are so full of BS packaging gimmicks they make buying motherboards look like buying a v-tek laptop for babys
