lowered vcore a little more for the 40x...under 1.000000000 vcore in bios
EDIT: Increasing speed now, had to increase vcore a bit too. 3.3GHz - Turbo+HT, max temp 67c on hottest core. EDIT: Increased BCLK again, and vcore: 3.57GHz - high temp after 20x LinX was 70c on hottest core EDIT: Increased BCLK again, and vcore: 3.78GHz - high temp after 20x LinX was 78c on hottest core (74F ambient) getting close to the limit here...was hoping to get 4GHz for 24/7 on stock cooler, we will see...probably not possible since it will start needing a big jump in vcore Last edited by ditchmagnet : 10-14-2009 at 08:24 PM. |

Ok, this is about the end of the road for the stock cooler for me.
I've got 3.88GHz with 82c on the hottest core. 4GHz just gets too hot, or if I lover vcore, LinX stops because of errors. 3.88GHz still seems good though for 24/7 |

Nice work man!!!
 I've got to update my sig, but I've got 3.2GHz(with turbo+HT on) @1.15 vcore tested 12 hours OCCT Linpack stable, it gets up to about 79-80C, but I think I can push the speed further. I can't lower my Vcore past 1.0 or I've got problems.Great job again!!! Nathan L. |

well, I just sold my computer a few hours ago for $900 just as it is in the sig + a brand new 1TB HDD, and my wireless Logitec keyboard and mouse (that I have had for a long time). considering I sold it with only 2GB of RAM, made about $60 of the other 4GB it had, and sold my IFX-14 with 2 fans for about $75, and the total cost to build was right around $1000 at the time, I think I did pretty good.
I still have my HK 3.0 and pump, but I think I will save that for my next build (which I hope will be gulftown....for now I will limp along on my Dell notebook. |

Well, I can't wait for gulftown to be released then, because your OCs are always interesting to see IMO.
