Update 920 C0 to 920 D0 or waiting for i7 930?
My Cpu is Stepping C0 and for OC over 4000 needed voltage and more temp. i decieded to change it with a D0 stepping. but from rumors i said 930 is going on. now sell it and buy D0 or waiting for 930? and please answer this : maximum voltage on D0 for 4000 / 4200? maximum Steable Frequency with D0 ? ( CPU Cooler : RRUE Black with two 2000RPM Fan? thanks all |

Anyhoo, last I heard was that to get 4Ghz OC on a i7 D0, you needed anywhere from 1.3 to 1.4 to 1.450 vcore. Maximum stable frequency... you mean the actual speed? If you're watercooling, then speeds up to 4.8 - 4.9 Ghz is not uncommon. If on air, then you could probably squeeze out 4.2 Ghz w/ HT out of that. I'm not too sure about the 930, I would suggest you wait until people report about it, then snag it. i7 D0 az koja mikhari? Tehran? Bazaar-e reza ya mirdamad paietakht? Che-ghad midi? Intel Core i7-930 arriving Q1 2010
And I am d@mn glad to see it, because it looked for all the world like Intel was loading up the 1156 for mid-range priced CPU's & reserving the 1136 only for expensive ($500+) CPU's!
