This is my 24/7 setup with a bit relaxed timings and clocks. Perhaps i should try @ 3900 6-5-5-14 2t

It should be okay now

Thinking about that Pentium 4 CPU I have... its supports HT so runs with two cores....
Could I disable the HT and run for the single core rankings?
I don't think HT even makes much difference on this CPU... Looks like 5ghz is around 50s in Wprime 32M....
Here's the CPU: http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/pentium_4_524
If that will not work I guess I need to get a single core for the rankings...

you beat me to it!
Your score should be the same + or- a few thousands of a second between versions....
you need to set the thread count, this older version doesn't automatically detect them...

Nice work Mr Scott same memory .....

FX Looking forward to it .... bring it on ...
Unfortunatly I am in the middle of a build right now but hope to come back a bit stronger

Mr Scott question if you don't mind. I consider you and your teammates the best of the best with the type of hardware you are using. I always loved the AMD products back in the day...
I am resurecting an old 939 system for a few reasons

1. X3 Classic catagory
2. Single threaded Prime runs for this thread
3. To try and take some bionts away from CP.............
4. And most of all just for the fun of it .......

Anyway I have some old XMS 4400 550 Mhz sticks 2.5-4-4-8
How would you rate this memory ? and do you think it is viable to be competetive with these stix .....

Thanks

You're too kind. I'll be sure to pass along the compliment.

There's always a way to be competitive with any hardware. Sometimes it's just a little more difficult and time consuming. My opinion on that ram, TCCD on a Brainpower PCB, at DDR550 (the rated spec).... it's overrated. You won't get much higher than the 550 and the timings are just a little loose for good PI and Pifast runs. You can tighten the timings slightly, but you lose speed and bandwidth fast. Voltage over 2.8v won't help either. I had a set of those a while ago. I was less than impressed. I did alot better on my Plats with a 2-3-2-x @ over 520. My suggestion, FWIW, find sticks with a CAS of 2 that run fast with voltage......or, it's tough to beat good 'ol BH-5 @ 2-2-2-x if you can get the volts to them.

The plats are the way to go. He talked me into getting some and he was right, they are OC beasts. They are in the FS thread atm.
