If you are worried about the scratch, put some tape on it that can withstand high temps (Electrical tape maybe?) to keep dirt out of it.

I will definately lap it. Maybe during the week end.

I hate my temps now... Time to do 2 loops. Would it help ? I think the DB-1 have an hard time pushing the water arround all the loop at a decent rate.

Loop 1 : 120.3 - Apogee GTX - MCP655

Loop 2 : 120.2 - 4850 - Northbridge - dTek Db-1

I think lapping the GTX will help a ton. I know mine is bowed like crazy.

ALTERNATIVELY, rather than adding a second loop, you should invest in an Apogee XT. Apparently it does about 3°C better than a GTZ, and a GTZ does about 8° better than our GTX, soooo... that would be chilly.

It might help a little bit, but going two loops would just be a waste of money. The DB-1's big brother, the CPX-Pro, or MCP-355 would be good choices.
