OK, ive been thinking awhile.. And doing some test shots and playing with raw files. I agree that good glass is 1/2 of my problem...Cannot get the sharpness that I so desire! The good glass is in the 4 figure range for Sony (and about the same as Canon's) I also am not sure Sony's high end glass is the same quality as Canon's glass. So If you were me, would you try out Sony good glass ( the 2 lenses are like 8K combined ) or just jump ship?

Jump ship. If your serious about photography there is no point buying expensive lenses for Sony because as you progress you will end up being limted by the Camera.

Better to start off now with either a midrange/semi pro Canon or Nikon camera and then you can spend the extra on getting good glass for them.

Then once you have developed your skills with the camera upgrade the body to go with the lenses you already have.
