Need Help Image Vectoring
I "vectored" the image to what I'm pretty sure they want I need some second opinions though. They say they accept .ai - .bpm - and .eps formats, the one I made is .ai (Opened in Adobe Illustrator but, I exported it from Photoshop) I have attached a zip with 3 files in it, one is the .ai I'm pretty sure they want, one is the original picture, and the last is an edited CS4 picture that I used to export the work path (.ai). I feel like the .ai that I made is really choppy and wont come out looking very good, any thoughts or pros that can edit it and make it look good or is it top notch enough already for etching? P.S. All the black parts in the picture is what I want on have etched in white into the case so a inverted gray-scale and vectoring is what I'm trying to achieve. |

I take it that it is to late for advice?
Sometimes the illustrator files do look choppy but will still print fine. Other option is if you have Freehand or Flash use their auto trace to turn your bitmap into a eps. Best option though is to speak to the people who are doing the job, they should be able to advice you. |

Illustrator's "live trace" tool is getting better,
but to do a good vector from a bitmap you often have to "re-draw" the image. Give a shout if you still need help. |
