Email address is showing up as .copm
Not sure how this is happening, but my emails are showing up with a .copm instead of .com extention to anyone I send an email to, so when they click on my address to reply it returns to sender that the address is not found. For example, my address now looks like this.... jdoe@address.copm instead of how it should be.... jdoe@address.com Any help would be very much appreciated |

I am actually having this problem through a work server running Microsoft Exchange.
Basically, the original person sends an email to another client, but when the client clicks on the original senders email address, the address is showing up with a .copm extension instead of a .com extension. The address is showing up as .copm in the email as well, so you can see that there is an error before you even click on it. |

if you have access to it check the exchange management console, find the mailbox thats having the issue and select properties and verify that the e-mail addresses tab lists the email address correctly
Or is this a hosted/provided environment? Is there an option to chose the from email? |

It is hosted through Microsoft (i believe). I figured there must be a setting somewhere in Outlook 2007 that has changed or where the return email address resides that may have changed as well.
Additional Comment: I got it fixed.....thank you everyone for your help. Last edited by Phixation : 12-14-2011 at 04:11 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |
