ya, kinda odd it's been in development for 8 years and they are still stripping a huge chunk outta the game. Makes me wonder what they spent the last 8 years doing lol.

I will be ordering the CE also! I hope they add PvP back. Hopefully them removing it now is so they can add in a more refined PvP system later?

Without PvP there's no point in famring for the best gear out there!

Apparently they had two options: Add PVP in a later patch or delay it even longer. I'm glad they chose the route they did. Nobody is going to want to duel the first few weeks the game is out anyway.

A very small fraction takes the PvP portion seriously so it didn't make sense for them to impact the majority to cater to a relatively low amount of players.

Either way, glad to know when it will be out. Now I can schedule my vacation days.

To further on from this, they basically said they were unhappy with how PvP turned out. I just hope that it doesn't take them long to get the feature sorted and to the end users.

Only a small fraction did pvp? I remember you could type in any form of pk, pkpkpk, pk12344352 etc and find a PvP game (if it wasnt full already)

I never played PvP D2 or any MP D2.

I'm glad they're not including it in the release of D3.

No MP? You missed out on so much fun! Even if PvP isn't your thing playing with friends made it 10x more fun.

I doubt it - it's just hack and slash. Not to mention the story line only follows "The Wanderer" - not the Pair of Shaggy Vagabonds.

D2 was huge up at college. We'd get massive LAN games going on MTU's network. Was great to be in MP with 7 other people rolling through the levels. My friends were **** good at creating lethal combos. I was just the stupid Frenzy Barb that "Leroy Jenkins"-ed everything. Specially the Multi-Shot Lightning Enchanted goons. I died a lot. I was a good meatshield.

Haha or the death knight guys in Act 4 that would cast the iron maiden (i think that was the spell, the one that would do dmg back to you) right after you WW and insta gib ya!

Yeah. I never used Whirlwind much. Stuck with Frenzy so that when I did get Iron Maiden, I could just speed away with my super speed! :P Haha... ahh memories. Almost a shame I won't be playing D3. Oh well...
