Also gives time for drivers to mature to take advantage of any new hardware and architecture.

There have been a lot of people who say the drivers are already pretty mature due to nvidia actually being pretty good about their drivers on release.

Should probably stay away from the glory hole impressions though.

Usually the biggest gains when it comes to new cards releases are in the
area of CF with AMD and the same for SLI with Nvidia.
At least for me.

As in Duals Tripps and Quad.

Been in both camps off and on.

way to look at, quote, and correct a post that was released on very old info that changed around page 4 ;-)

The info was originaly correct when details were first leaked. NVidia chaged gears, along with price points and naming structures once the benchmarks started proving Kepler killed anythign AMD had. There mid range card became there high end, there high end became a hold back while AMD catches up.

I bet the drivers we see at launch of GK110 are gonna be pretty good, being as they already have the card.....

Indeed, My concern is this:

All over the eVGA forums the 4GB model is "a Few Months" out before we will see them. Which means June / July? So by then would they really release the dual core card or possibly be close to releasing the 685? I mean I know the 4GB is a "Variant" and not Reference but if I am already waiting for the 4GB model and the next card is right around the corner would make sense to wait I think. (yes yes I know all about waiting for upgrades and how if you keep waiting you will never upgrade.....)
