I started a 63 Chevy Impala w/283 that hadn't been run in over 30 years. After lubing, hand cranking and priming I pumped air down the carburetor throat. She started. Those old engines were tough as nails.

Well after some mystery oil in each cylinder, some clean fuel, and some sand paper between the points she fires right up oil pressure is great.

Here is a video from starting it. Shortly after the carb flames we started it and let it idle. Carb needs a rebuild. Really quiet as someone put single exhaust on it. The hangers are there for dual so I will be going back to dual eventually.
 These 3 photos are where it sat when we picked it up.    These are some that we took in the garage and rear end cleanup.
