fah v7 and mixed nvidia cards

Well, I'm trying to get a nvidia 560Ti and a 9800GT to both fold while in my main rig. I have this working with the latest 6.x GPU clients by using -forcegpu nvidia_fermi and -forcegpu nvidia_g80 for the respective shortcuts. I noticed that there are now extra slot options for the clients. However, it appears that at least on the normal page on Stanfords site, that there is no clear documentation on how to use the gui to use the -forcegpu option. I found a table for conversion, but have no clue on location of the actual config.xml file location or how to actually use this table (https://fah-web.stanford.edu/project...ferencesV6ToV7). If anyone has found out how to do this, please point to a link or tell me what the syntax is to drop this as a slot option for each of the GPUs. From what I can see on the folding forums, I don't think anyone else has figured it out.

I wouldn't bother using the 9800GT
I don't know if it's a driver issue or a client one but mixing cores (G80, GF110) will result in lower PPD on the weaker card (9800GT)
Put the 9800 in the same system as the GTS250 if you can, since it's basically a 9800GTX+ it should be an issue

I would drop it in with one of the 250s, but unfortunately those are single 16X PCIe motherboards. My only multi 16x slot board is my main machine. As for running them both in my machine. They seem to get the same number of points as they did by themselves (at least within 50 PPD). The OC'ed 9800 is making about 5800 PPD with the 6.41 client, and it would be a shame to just let it sit idle.

Well maybe it's just mixing cores while running the same folding core
I've got 2 570s & a 470 and 800MHz the 470 would only get 11k if I'm lucky when it's folding along side the 570s even though I know for a fact it can get almost 16k on the same WU.

Try using FAH Tracker, it can be fold over on the EVGA forums and should make using both cards easier, since it doesn't make you type in the flags you need
