I disagree. I like it more then the 2500K which retail is over $200 for, and AM3+ has more options/features then 1155 (6x SATA6 ports, 16x16 PCIe, larger compatibility, better ram clocking).

but 3500k is going to be sitting at $220 very soon.

I agree, I over stated. I think it should be a $200ish cpu not $230

Its normaly $190 at newegg, $180 at MC. I got mine at $180 + $80 off the Sabertooth.

sorry a bit off topic but, do you think an 8120 out performs a Phenom II 955? Like an absolute kill. Or just barely?

Depends on what you are doing. In single threaded, not really, but multithreaded and multitasking would be a lot better.

Additional Comment:

If anyone doesnt have a MC near them, Ill likely be there tomorrow to get a mobo, and can pick one up and send it. Likely end up costing you $170 shipped.

I didn't even bother replacing my 1090T with a bulldozer CPU.. 1-3 thread applications are where people do 95% of their work, and thuban is acutally faster than bulldozer in some situations.
