Martin210's Fan Testing: Gentle Typhoon AP29 vs AP15

This is a great test published today and very fun to watch/read. The AP29 is a high rpm version of the mid-range king, the Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP15 both made by OEM Nidec. The meters are lined up so it is fun to read the text, then watch the videos and listen. You can see where the fans start, e.g at 5 volts the AP29 starts around 1200 rpm and at 5 volts the AP15 is around 700. He also has a dB meter too. Great simple test to watch before buying rad fans.

Thoughts please?
