Yeah there's a new CPU line out (45nm) and of course the GPU2 client. I've been wanting to include a GPU table, but there's not many PPD statistics available.

Great thread. I have been wanting to convert some of mine over to PXE. Some of my old hard drives have begun failing but the systems are still good to go. Both my GTX280's oc'd to 712/1620 puts out 9444 ppd average. |

nice thread... Definetly needs GPU info, as a number of GPUS will out-ppd smp clients... I know that my piece of ..... HD3870 cranks 2k ppd and my i7-920 @ 4.2 with HT on is in and around 3.8k

I know this thread is a bit old, but i'm guessing the newer SMP clients have come a looong way. I have a dedicated folding rig, but for grins and giggles, I dropped the new SMP client on my gaming rig (i7 920@4.0/HT on) and i'm pulling about 17kppd. Thanks to this thread, I'm quite inspired to build a farm of a few of theese boards. Thanks for the inspiration
![]() I do have a noob question tho. From the pics i've seen, the mobo's dont seem to actually be mounting. Can they just be placed/secured on a non-conductive surface, or am i just not seeing the mountings in the pics? |
