P8Z77-V DELUXE and i7 3770k PIN connector

Hello, I have just a quick question. I have a P8Z77-V DELUXE and a i7 3770K together with a Corsair AX 850W Powersupply.

I was wondering if I shall use 4 pin or 8 pin power to the motherboard?

think ya need the 24 pin ATX and the 4 pin motherboard connector, i moved from a 1156 chipset board and kept the same PSU and i didnt require any relocation of wires when i slotted in the Z77. Hope that helps

Well, it's 8 pins on the motherboard, so I am unsure whether to use 4 or 8.

If the board has 8, you use 8.

Always use what the board has, if the board is 4pin use 4pin, if it has an 8pin then use the 8pin.
