AMD and ARM join forces
Quote:
Interesting development. ARM's reach in the mobile market is wide, so this seems like the perfect time for both companies to work together to take on Intel as it tries to grow in to the mobile market. It should allow AMD some wiggle room and give ARM some extra cash. |

This is seriously awesome.
I was so happy when I read about this. The visual processors usually incorporated into ARM chips are never all that great. With ATI involved with AMD and ARM it can only mean Android devices might just end up getting a big boost in 3D capability. Now we just have to figure out a new way to incorporate ARM into DAAMIT. DAAMMARTI? DAAMITARM? DAAAMRMIT? DRAAMMAIT? Ohh!! I got it! DAAMITRAM! |
