Fold-a-thon Number 5 next Monday-Wednesday!

This is a heads up for Fold-a-thon Number 5. Time for you to fire up something extra if you aren't fullly committed, or time to try it if you haven't yet.

Starts at Midnight Sunday night June 10 and ends Wednesday June 13 at Midnight.

If you only want to complete one unit, be sure to use the -oneunit argument.

I've got my 4ps plugged into the same circuit and they've stayed up. I think I may be able to plug the 2p into the one on the other wall. That's what I'm going to try, any way.

Not supposed to draw more than 80% of a circuit 24/7. If you are pulling more than 12A from those 2P's, you are running a fire hazard (your wires will get hot, increasing resistance and lowering output voltage - it happened in my bedroom).

Thanks, by my calculation I'm right at that number. I may have to move one of the 4ps sooner than I was thinking.

Run a new line just for the 4Ps.

Can't do much else but I cobbled together a little system that I'm gonna be browsing on and watching hulu on. So I won't slow down my main rig. I won't be gaming during the fold -a-thon so i should stay in the 20K range

I've thought about it. I kind of need an electrician out to update our electrical service any way. I can't run my welder and dryer at the same time.

Hopefully I can get my wireless adapter by then so I can fire up the G92's again. I'm also having problems with my AM3+ setup...

Oh my, that's a big problem. A dryer should always be on it's own breaker. If you don't have the confidence to rewire yourself you should get an electrician out there. Wiring isn't really hard, just need a DMM, flashlight, & wire cutters/strippers. Knowing code and staying legal is the *****.

Yeah, my house is 50 years old and needs an upgraded service. Truthfully, I very rarely use my welder, so it isn't much of an issue. Still, we should upgrade our service.

I know that feeling. I helped rewire my grandmothers house, that was built by her dad. A two story house that was running on 50Amp service. My uncle put everything to code and got 200Amp service put in.

I thought I had it figured out with over a 700K average for a few days. Of course, my average dropped during the Fold-a-thon...yuck.

My NIC driver crashed this morning, I just can't seem to run during the fold-a-thons.

I had P8020/8019 projects on my GPU almost the whole fold-a-thon. Nice PPD

It looks like the Fold-a-thon was a bust based on the stats. The biggest impact seems to be what work jmossman and my machines are doing. They skew the numbers quite a bit if they aren't working at full capacity.

I only got one solid day in without problems. We had two black outs in three days. And I wasn't home to restart my systems.
