problem with download speed on firefox

hello,

I have Verizon Fios.. the 45MB plan.. on I.E., i get my 45 or so.. same with chrome.. but Firefox has been crappy only 5-7 MB. I have tested all 3 thru speedtest.net. Any Ideas why firefox would be crappy.. Videos keep pausing.. Hate that. I have tried resetting Firefox.. and no help.

Thanks for any ideas,

E7

Yes, I am running the latest version. and for shtis & giggles, i ran the speedtest on the wifes win7 core i3 machine.. (also hooked to the same network) hers is the same.. firefox is only 4-5 MB download and the others are in the 45 MB range. Her pc is pretty much stock, no mods.. As a side note, i saw in the NIS forums that there are others that have the same issue with FF 13.0.0 & win 7 64 bit. Guess ima have to move the bookmarks to google Chrome til firefox gets it sorted out.
