The Ultimate boot disk

I have a boot up disk call the ultimate boot disk for windows xp. Is there one out for windows 7?

have you upgraded to the current built of UBCD4Win? I'm pretty certain that is 64bit Windows 7 compatible.

You can't use the Switch User feature to change OSes since they are two entirely different operating systems.

There are many guides on the Google on how to do that. The bigger line is that you are going to have to install XP first then install W7, so that the W7 bootloader can take care of the picking.

You could install a Virtual Machine, like VMWare or other free alternatives, and be able to switch back and forth. Warning, you must have ample memory installed.

You can dual boot Xp/Win7 easily but you have two options...

1. slipstream sata drivers into your XP disk

2. IDE mode(BIOS) for win7

Make sure to partition your hard drive first with at least 20gb for the XP install, additional programs and updates.

I'd split the drive into partitions and possibly use Grub to select which OS to boot into.
