Buyer Beware: The Swiftech 35B
The 35B looks to be an MCP350 with the housing/top from a 35x. The Swiftech housing/top allows the 350 to be used with G 1/4" threads. It likely confers other performance enhancements as DDC tops tend to do. There are no Google hits for the 35B other than Swiftech so I can't find tests to confirm my suspicion. Just make sure if someone is looking for the Swiftech 35x, they don't end up with a 35b. To make it even trickier, Performance sells the 35b for $80 (list price) while Jab-tech discounts the 35x for $80. I am not even going to list the 35b in the Parts Guide - will cause more pain than gain. I think a 350 or even 35b (with G 1/4" top) for $80 is way overpriced when you can get a 35x for the same cost. All I can say is, "heads up". ![]() edit: changed mind; will list 35b along with the mcp 350 under DDC 3.1 - that way anyone who reads the Parts Guide sticky will be warned - will fix the pumps section later today edit edit: went to a forum with a Swiftech rep and put a note in his thread on new Swiftech products; i was told the 35B was a 350 with 35x housing so suspicion confirmed...
