Apple loses again... HTC defeats Apple in patent dispute

HTC is claiming victory in a patent dispute with Apple after a ruling by the High Court in London.

The judge ruled that HTC had not infringed four technologies that Apple had claimed as its own.

He said Apple's slide-to-unlock feature was an "obvious" development in the light of a similar function on an earlier Swedish handset.

Apple has also cited the patent in disputes against firms using Google's Android system software

First Samsung now HTC, it seems the courts are no longer always ruling in Apple's favour.

To be honest I am getting bored of reading about all these petty patent disputes.

Glad HTC won. Apple may actually upgrade their phones to a semi decent level now.

For a long while now they have been quite a way behind the curve. Yes they were innovative in coming up with the iPhone but they very quickly got surpassed and iPhones are pretty poor now in comparison to the top phones from Samsung.

Good deal, how about getting a judge to revoke that patent all together.

QFT!

Apple is just trash now, they're just banking on the fact that their iPhone was like gold back when it first came out, Now their products and just trash, and the upgrades they provide like the iPhone 4S is a total waste of cash... One day they'll learn. Till then I'll enjoy my Android and its awesome epic features on a amazing Samsung phone :P
