Sorry forgot to include that. Core I5 3.1Gz, Asus maximus board, GTX 570, 800Watt Silverstone PSU, NZXT case, Zalman cooler, and whatever the fastest western digital HDD is right now. Might still be the 640 Black. That's the basic rig specs I guess.
I just need to know what DDR3 is overclocking the best right now. I know how it goes through phases where one company is producing good batches right now, but then all at once they start to royally suck. And they its some other company for a while, then all at once they start to suck. So which one is it right now? Back when I followed this stuff, it was crucial ballistix. |

Depends if you're after the highest frequency, tightest timings or a combination of both.
If you want the highest frequency something with Hynix or Samsung IC is your best bet. Teamxtreme and TridentX are the way to go. If you want tight timings you might be able to find a set of Hyper-IC based memory. A decent middle ground is the new-ish Crucial ballistix elite. They do tight timings with decent speeds |

I have these but in the 2400Mhz ver but they also have a XMP of 2133Mhz 1.5v 9-11-11-28 T1 Cuz with Sandy Bridge the max mem oc is at about 2200Mhz |

Im using tracers 1600 7-7-7-24 its for gaming,when 1366 came out and needed triple channel at that time it was 200.00 for 3 then sandy bridge i bought 1 more stick so i had 250.00 in ram,other than that my ram o/c's great,imo
