The war is over - Facebook and Yahoo call truce & form alliance
In a surprising turn of events in the recent patent wars, Facebook and Yahoo lawyers have called time on their dispute and decided instead to form an advertising alliance. Talk about a turn around. Quote:

If ya can't beat em join em.Makes sense for Yahoo and Facebook gets rid of an annoyance.Also now Facebook is public any adverse press they don't need right now.

how is yahoo still alive. Even when i run out of search engines and or ideas on the internet i never go check yahoo.
Now that i think of it...i used to play Yahoo Pool back in the day. That's about it! |

OAP's. Seriously. All the basic courses here for the older generation to learn computer basics specifically teaches usage of Yahoo mail and have done for years. Older internet users learn to use Yahoo mail early on and then don't change because its daunting to learn a new program all over again. Its the mail service thats keeping them afloat, because otherwise they would sink.
