Intel Core I5 760 on 4.4ghz

Hi all ...

My specs:

Intel Core I5 760 2.8ghz cpu
Corsair H80 cooling
MSI Twin Froz ii 560 GTX ti OC
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3R mobo
Kingston 1333ghz 2x4gb ram
Xilence 600w powersupplier
OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 60gb

Problem:

After oc'ing my rig my comp is starting up pretty slow.I tought oc'ing would speedup your comp and not slow down

erm, try downclocking a little, maybe have minor instabilities. is it prime stable?

No way that is stable and cool. It is most likely slow due to overheating.

CPU speed has no impact on startup speed. HDD and how many processes/services you have set to autorun determine that.

You likely have a bad install, bad overclock, or a combination of both.

I downclocked it back to 4.3ghz , the temp werent a prob but the instabilities were ! :s
