Front page news is starting to wake back up

I think we have done a pretty good job these last few weeks of getting some news to the front page of EOC. Thanks to you guys who have quickly made yourself part of the EOC crew by submitting the news.

Feel free to provide your opinions on the articles you submit. I will do my best not to filter anything out.

We sacrificed the standard look of the news post to get the news up more quickly and I don't think anyone is really upset about it. The most recent news post to when I started dropping items to the front page was from early 2011, so just having news is massive.

You guys don't realize this, but Jason and I receive a metric F-Ton of emails from other hardware review websites when they do news posts: I may contact some of you guys who post most often to get you on that list so that you are notified as soon as other websites post their reviews.

Im just putting up things that I find that might be interesting in the electronics sphere. Wouldn't the EOCF to be a backwater for news

I havent had much time lately to search for news-worthy stuff through all the metric f-ton worth of e-mails I get through EOCF (I'm in the news mailing list), but Ill try to get back to it.

I'm on that list too. My mailbox gets SOOO much technews.

Make sure you have a Gmail or something. When a new card gets released I get about a mail every 2-5minutes for the whole day

What's a "Gmail"? My intertube came with that free CD in the mailbox... can't remember the name....

I mentioned the Gmail 'cause its 10GB e-mail space is I reckon more than what others offers, unless you use Outlook or sumtin like dat. My 10GB is slowly filling itself thanks to all these news mails

That is up to the mods. I would like to re-write our review system so that we can submit reviews from the forums just like we submit news.

I'va had yahoo for so long I think they just removed my limit...

I have never reached a limit on my email clients lol. I dont know how the hell you could fill up 10GB with emails unless they include obscene amounts of pics in each email...

Actually I'm at 16% with 1.7GB used. lol. Never deleting a single e-mail. About to hit 40K mails!
