What max memory frequency can my motherboard support?

Hi everybody! Good day to all.
I have this laptop of mine, and it has only 2Gb ram, I want to upgrade to 6Gb by adding 4Gb of ram, I know that it has DDR2 ram right now, but I don't know which one? DDR2 667, DDR2 800 or something else. It was used when I brought it, so can't contact the manufacturer (and the guy doesn't knows this much details).
So my question is
1. What is the current frequency of the ram installed in my laptop? (667, 800, 1033?)
2. What is max memory frequency it can support? (667, 800?)

I am attaching the screenshots of CPU-Z. (I know there are all details in there but I don't know how to find them!)

ps: and what are these JEDSE blocks shown in SPD tab?

What is the manufacturer? Those blocks are just the default timings at different speeds which I'm not sure you could adjust on a laptop. You have to be careful it supports the size stick you want to use.For instance it might not support 4gb sticks only 1 or 2.According to your memory tab you are running 667(333x2).

Can't contact the manufacturer because it is used? Yes you can.

Go to the support section of the Laptop manufacturers website, the info you are looking for will be there.

Without the laptops specific make and model information there is no way for us to tell you how much RAM it will handle.

Also, what operating system? If 32 bit, more than 4GB wont do you any good, the OS cant use it.

I would bet 4GB max and ddr2-800......(just guessing...)

Most laptops with DDR2 only go up to 667MHz support, but you will also see some with 800MHz support too. Usually just getting an 800MHz kit will work on slower support as well, meaning it will just run on 667MHz. What is your laptop model and manufacturer? Perhaps we can find out for you.

I would guess 667MHz is max because as jbmcmillan pointed out that is what you are running at already at the moment.

Looks like the OP is only running 1 stick, so I would expect a 2nd stick would allow Dual channel and show some performance improvement.

Other than that its all covered

T-6400 cpu will support 800MHz FSB so ima think the laptop will run ddr2 800 at its rated speed. As stated, if not, the ddr2 800 will run at 667 speed.

First thanks eveyone for your reply. maxgur, odannez, jbmcmillan and johnerz for your replies. I get that I should go for a 2GB 800MHz DDR2 ram (or 4Gb) if my motherboard supports it. Well in any case thanks again! Also, just in case it might be any useful, here's a screenshot from cpu-z.

The make and model of the laptop would be helpful, I don't really care if it is stolen.
