GS800 any good? Or stick to the 750hx?

For a new build, was intent on the 750hx until the gs800 came along with its flashy lights

Reviews rate it as a good solid PSU, however it's not modular! How much of a drawback is this?

Last I heard of the GS line was that they weren't as good as their other lines. That was at the beginning of the GS PSUs, tho.
