1. Cut/blow all the bridges 2. *Very* carefully level off the resulting mess. I only ever cut bridges, I'm a bit wary of the 'fuse effect' blowing of bridges. It means applying voltages that are higher than the core is rated for, one slip..... I do know that cutting the bridges, even with the sharpest of blades (I use a surgical-steel scalpel, about as sharp as you get!) leaves a slightly 'raised' edge around the cut. 3. Fill the resulting gaps in the top substrate with the filler of your choice (super/crazy glue, epoxy etc..) so the copper conducter beneath is safely covered. 4. Level off the covering so it's flush with the top of the pcb. 5. Pencil away! Anyone tried anything similar? Am I off my rocker or would this make trying various mults a lot safer than the paint, dry, test, strip, paint etc.. route? I find that I spend most of my OC time carefully removing paint that has 'bled' outside the channel I'm interested in rather than pushing my CPU's... Ideas, thoughts, flames etc all greatfully received! ;-) |

that could smear it and it could connect to other pins and could fry the card. id rather wipe it off with a cloth and alcohol.
