How to restore my ffox session after crash?

I lost my session after a crash and I tried the usual rename sessionstore.bak to .old and close ffox and then rename to .js and start again but nothing doing.

When I open .bak with notepad I can see that all my tabs are there but how do I get ffox to open the session?

If you mean the "restore window" function, yeah, I can't restore anything.
