and the reason i think my video card is messin up is when i play games the games just shut off for noe reason...and then if they dont shut off they screen gets all the colors distorted...its crazy looking then i have to restart my comp to fix it...

maybe its the hdd that you didnt take out? it demands a proper burial and thefore is haunting your computer

I had something like that happen before on my GeForce 2. I figured out the problem when I stuck my head down there and looked to find that the fan had stopped. Needless to say, it died.

well its been doin that for a long time before the HDD died...and the fan is still working on it..
