setting program priority

Hello i just tried to set a programs priority from low to normal but it keeps switching back to low does anyone know how to lock priority settings?

Are you sure that it should be set to low its not somthing that is neccesary ? Im not sure why it would change back but maybe it cant be set on low ? What program is it ?

no its a game, guild wars it is set to low by default i try to set it to normal and it resets to low.

it really isnt that important but when i set something to normal and it changes back without my permission .........its war lol
